Our Pastor, Mission & Vision

Pastor Noble D. Williams

Noble Williams, the son of Abraham and Annie Mae Williams, is a lifelong Alabama resident and graduate of Pacelli High School in Columbus, Georgia, attended Columbus State University and the Beacon Theological Seminary.

He was employed for twenty-three years as a locomotive engineer with Norfolk Southern Railway when he received his calling to go into the Ministry and was ordained in 1997.  He has served as Senior Pastor of Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church since Nov. 2000.  During this assignment, there has been an exciting and rewarding manifestation of the power of God in the church and his personal life. Pastor Williams is married to Dorothy Parkman Williams, his partner in ministry and life. First Lady Williams, a teacher and leader within the body who personifies a godly lifestyle. They have three children, Shurette, Tisha, and Brandon, and five grandchildren—Christopher, Keith, Erin, Tristan, and Kaleyn.
